Jill's House, Inc. was named in honor of Jill Kristen Behrman, a 19 year old Indiana University sophomore and beloved Bloomington resident. Jill was abducted while riding her bicycle in May 2000.
Jill's House was also built in honor of Steven Howard, who lost his battle with cancer at age 19. Steve's parents, Peg and Bud Howard, are the dedicated co-founders of Jill's House, Inc.
In remembering Jill Behrman and Steve Howard - and the anguish associated with the shortness of their lives - Jill's House strives to be a place of comfort and peace for others who are suffering.
